Individual Therapy
Time For you.

Individual therapy is a personalized and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors with a licensed professional. Whether you're facing specific challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply seeking personal growth, individual therapy provides support tailored to your unique needs.

What to Expect:

Through a collaborative process, we will work together to help you gain insights, develop coping strategies, and foster a deeper understanding of yourself. This one-on-one approach empowers you to navigate life’s difficulties, enhance your well-being, and create meaningful change.

See below for additional details on the types of therapy I offer, and general goals of individual therapy.

treatment:

In individual treatment, our time is focused on you. We will collaborate to establish short-term goals to improve you day-to-day which may include managing anxiety, reducing avoidance, or improving your mood.
We will also work together to solidify your long-term goals for personal growth and empowerment which includes relationships, family, career, values, health and ongoing mental wellbeing.
In order to remain flexible, I do not pull from any one therapy approach. I incorporate CBT, mindfulness and somatic skills, and relational therapy.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based psychotherapy that helps you identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. By recognizing distorted thoughts, challenging them, and adopting healthier perspectives, CBT empowers you to improve your emotional well-being. It's a structured, goal-oriented approach that teaches practical skills for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. CBT is typically short-term and focused on addressing specific challenges.

  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy combines mindfulness practices with therapy to help you focus on the present moment and observe your thoughts and feelings without judgment. This approach promotes emotional regulation, reduces stress, and is effective for managing anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.

  • Relational Therapy focuses on how your relationships—both past and present—affect your emotional well-being. It’s about exploring these connections to better understand yourself and improve how you interact with others. The therapy itself offers a safe space to experience and practice healthy relationships, helping you build stronger, more fulfilling connections in your life.
