I have worked with couples of all ages and backgrounds. Most of my experience is with people who have been together 5+ years and are often transitioning into getting married, having children, or taking the next big step in their relationship.
I work with:
Conflicting values or goals
Culturally Diverse clients
Financial strain
First Generation
Improving emotional connection Infertility or challenges with pregnancy
Intimacy and sex life
LGBTQ+ folks
Mental Health Challenges (except substance usage)
Mixed-raced folks
Premarital
Do we really need a therapist??
That's a valid question. While I can't answer that for you, I can say that every couple I work with leaves with new and valuable insights about themselves, their partner, and their relationship. It's never too late to start a new chapter, and the earlier you address tension and avoidance, the greater your chances of reducing resentment and fostering the energy needed for creative solutions.
Whether you’re both struggling to have important conversations, reacting defensively to one another, or avoiding communication and feeling disconnected, couples therapy offers a space to address these challenges through more effective and thoughtful collaboration.
