Mental Health Support Across Your Reproductive Journey

  • Post-partum depression or anxiety is a mental health condition that effects as many as 1 in 8 childbearing individuals with nearly 50% going untreated. The symptoms can last for months and impact your sleep, eating, pleasure, motivation, fatigue, relationships, and bonding with your newborn.

  • Grief after pregnancy loss is complex.
Societal messages and discriminative healthcare systems tell women and child-birthing individuals that they are failures when they experience a loss. I am here to tell you this couldn't be further from the truth.

If you have experienced a loss, and are ready to take back control of your story, read on below...

Pre and Post Partum Support

Mental Health treatment that occurs before or up to a year after childbirth. No matter where you are at, seeking out mental health support at any time pre or post delivery is more important than falling within a time frame or specific diagnosis.

Treatment may include addressing isolation, irritability, panic or rumination, or other mood fluctuations that interrupt your day-to-day functioning. Sessions may also include your partner.

NOT THE BABY BLUES

“Baby Blues” is a very common sense of worry, unhappiness, and fatigue which occurs 2-3 days post-partum. This is an exhausting time where self-care and support are important, and many experience relief within two weeks.

Counseling can help you to feel supported, hopeful, and confident again.
